Women Wrestling: Misty Blue v Kat LeRoux

How about some more wrestling scans?  

The following are from a 1992 edition of Wrestling Eye (Is that magazine still around?) and show a match between Misty Blue Simmes and Kat Leroux.  It's weird but every time Misty Blue showed up in a wrestling magazine back then she was inevitably fighting Kat Leroux or Linda Dallas.  And people say TNA's Knockouts roster lacks depth.

Anyway, I apologise for the quality but these were sitting in a cardboard box for the last two decades. Some wear and tear is inevitable.

Is it just me that really wants the onepiece to make a comeback in wrestling?

Remember that Misty is supposed to be the Good Girl here.

A hold that always seemed to involve more effort than it was worth.

    I've always found one piece costumes more attractive than bikini types, wrestling, swimming, whatever.

      One pieces are definitely more practical than bikinis when it comes to wrestling. Otherwise there are issues with bits escaping...

      I love Misty Blue!!! Finding new (or old pics I haven't seen in ages) pics of her online is awesome! Your blog is amazing and I come back to it regularly - keep up the great work. It's very entertaining! If you have new Misty pics floating around, I'll be forever grateful!!! She's the best!

    I kinda remember Misty Blue and that she was a standout back in the 90's. Once again thanks for the excellent research.

      She was being pushed as the saviour of womens wrestling at one point. It never quite worked out that way.

    She had the sex appeal and the ring work...but mic skills killed her. I still believe that Vince never gave her a chance solely based on the poor mic skills.

    Kat Leroux was my favorite! I saw Kat and Misty wrestle at a live event in the late 1980's. RIP Kat.
