Heavy Metal Cover Girls: More Women In White

Continuing the theme from last time, here's more young ladies doing their best to stand out from the crowd.

Lyria - Catharsis (Brazil 2014)

Yes, love, you're still gorgeous.
Now can we get out of this creepy-ass forest please?

Brazil is best known for thrash so female-fronted Symphonic Metal is a bit of a surprise.

Beyond Violet - Frozen Words (NLD 2013)

The original title "I'm Freezing My Tits Off" tested badly with focus groups, hence the change.

Beyond Violet are also Symphonic Metal

Breaking Grace - Redemption Road (USA 2014)

Out on the prairie you can see forever.
That means you can watch the Amazon parcel van coming for an entire morning.
Francine had been waiting for her parcel for a month, she could wait just a little longer.
Just a little longer...

The band are modern US hard rock.

I'm convinced that these next two are the same woman.

Words Of Farewell - The Black Wild Yonder (Germany 2014)

She had seen too many rom-coms where the heroine runs up a dress out of a pair of curtains.
"I can do that" she said.
Problem #1:  She could only find an old dog blanket.
Problem #2: She couldn't actually sew for shit.

The band are crunchy Melodeath

Soul Of Steel - Destiny (Italy 2011)

Her second attempt, using a net curtain didn't fare any better.

Snarking aside, I do like both of these covers, and it's interesting that two
very different bands, years apart can come up with covers so similar.

And finally...

Randy Jackson'S China Rain - Bed of Nails (USA 1993)

I don't care how beautiful and inviting she is, there's no friggin way I'm getting on that bed, and especially not naked.
Arguing about who goes on top takes on a whole new urgency when the results could put somebody in hospital

The ex-Zebra singer goes in for some Led Zep-ish groove on this track.

Hope you liked the covers.

Hope you liked the music.

That's all folks.
