ReplyDeleteI spent about 5 months in Indonesia back in 1995, metal could be heard every time I took a bus or taxi around the towns. They actually had a fashion for the guys called "Rock Gods" where they all had long hair, studded wristbands and tattoos, they were often the ones who would date many of the foreign tourists.
Metal has this amazing ability to thrive in all sorts of places you wouldn't expect - even countries that go out of their way to curb it.
DeleteHahaha, just chuckled my way through the Requinox video. Po-faced riffing, mixed with strangely galloping metal heads in the snow makes an odd combination.
