Mass - War Law (Germany 1984)
Fairly obviously based on Red Sonja - The comic not the godawful film.
In a minute he's going to tell her to be careful with that sword
before she has somebody's eye out.
Burning Starr - Land Of The Dead (USA 2011)
Assuming that's meant to be Conan up front then that could very well be
Belit the Pirate-Queen behind him, waiting for the chance to get stuck in herself.
Look at her face. There's a girl looking forward to some mayhem.
Deadline - Dressed To Kill (Italy 2000)
And now more sci-fi take on the concept . Her gun is a bit pathetic mind you.
What's she going to use it on. Voles?
Jupiter - S/T (Spain 1987)
This elegant female samurai is wearing more clothes than usual but still inadequately protected against the rigours of space.
This will not end well.
Crimson Valley - Crossing The Sky (Poland 2012)
Bloody dragons. Worse than magpies for nicking stuff, so they are.
Brassieres in this case.
Steel Horse - Wild Power (Spain 2009)
Steel Horse - In The Storm (Spain 2011)
I'm assuming this young lady is a cross between Buffy and Rentokill.
"Got a problem with enormous snakes? Giant Ghost-wolves scaring away the tourists?
Call this toll-free number and one of our ladies will come round and kill their paranormal ass."
And finally
Power Symphony - Evillot (Italy 1999)
Apparently the Ancient Celts used to go into battle butt-naked.
"I'm so hard I don't even need pants. Watch me wave my tackle in your general direction"
I don't think that's the case here. I suspect the artist is rubbish at drawing armour but
reckons he can paint a bum with the best of them.
That's it for now.
If you want to know where I found these, have a look over at the links panel on the right.
Just in case anybody is wondering, my favourite cover = The one with the wolves.
