Wrestling champion and revolutionary Rena Titanon is introduced quite early on and #2 she tells the story of how she won - then lost - the world title.
Note that the art style shifts quite a lot for each of these.
In Issue# 4 heroine Maggie stops by her aunt's Gym, her aunt being Vicki Glori and Rena's arch-rival. We get to see her doing a spot of training.
I love the way Vicki casually carries on a conversation while beating the crap
out of her sparring partner. I think she ends up standing on the poor girl's head.
The next three pics can all be found in the TPB "House Of Raging Women"
Rena Titanon makes a comeback in #16 in a story that switches from comedy to moving.
Definitely edging closer to the "Whoa, Nellie!" style.
Issues #26 and #27 have the two-parter "In The Valley Of The Polar Bears" wherein Maggie reluctantly becomes ringside valet for Aunt Vicki and in the process causes her to go utterly Tonto.
The woman clearly has a few issues by this point.
After pissing Vicki off one time too many Maggie manages to get herself fired and
ends up travelling with Rena's partner Pepper Martinez
You have to love the facial expressions in this one. The poor lass Pepper is torturing is really not enjoying life at the moment and the ref looks decidedly bemused.

The only other L&R wrestling story I know about is a short piece about Rena Titanon's younger days and it's in Volume 2 #11.
Rena smiles for the camera after pulling a fast one on the rich and powerful.
I will freely admit that this is a comic I only know marginally so if there are more wrestling stories out there, I'd love to know about it.
That's all folks.
Outstanding post sir!
